As a newbie blogger, who has lot's to learn about the whole world of blogging, I was fortunate enough to have the Blogher conference in my backyard this year. Blogher is a site dedicated to women bloggers. You can list your blog with them, blog directly on their site, or a combination of both.
As with any passion, finding those with like mind and interests is a powerful thing. I found my fellow attendees to be witty, smart, and extremely helpful. I look forward to learning more about the Bloggers I met and the work they do.
I have plans to add a blog list, as well as, highlighting some great posts. So many ideas. Inspiration is good and organization skills right now would be better.
We met at the typepad party and talked about adoption. I enjoyed our chat!

Hey, we daddy bloggers deserve a little love, too! We're the second-class citizens of the blogosphere. But I guess we had it coming.

Debra,
It was nice to meet you at BlogHer. San Fran is a beautiful area. How fun to have it in your "back yard".
I'd like to get in touch with you in the future about being a virtual "guest speaker" if you're interested. I'll shoot you an email from my work address.
Warmly,
Darcy
